Everett casino officials request 4 a.m. last call

serve liquor past 2 AM. WYNN Resorts is requesting to
serve alcohol until 4 a.m. only on the casino floor– with
patrons actively gambling. Everett Cit Councilor Mike
McLaughlin says it’s the only
way to
bring in international gamers. that said– McLaughlin would
like to see a 3:30 AM last
call.. to get
liquor off the floor by 4. There are also local concerns
about

$70-million dollars’ worth of road work
in Sullivan Square alone-

move and change
light sequencing should the need arise
Encore will also be offering
free
shuttles from the Malden and
Wellington MBTA stations And
will be offering a $7 water taxi. To
further protect locals from the
visitor influx– McLaughlin is
proposing a 24 hour parking
sticker program for residents
only A public meeting will be held
this Thursday at Everett City Hall on
the traffic concerns; several
public meetings will be held in
the next 2 weeks about at 4 AM
alcohol extension. The Casino opens on June 23rd.
