I love this University because of the academic staff. The open-mindedness that they have. I think for a Masters they kind of take you from where you are and where you want to go and they make sure that you get there. The most important thing is to learn how to manage your life, your learning. Take the most out of all of the resources that are available at the University. We get so much help from our professors. I enjoyed being challenged. It was great to have someone push back and push me out of my comfort zone and that’s what makes you grow. Keep calm. Contact your supervisors. Read a lot. And do yoga and meditate. Especially if you’re online and you’re sitting at your desk at home still try and connect as if you are on campus together because it’s easy to do. Staying connected to your fellow students whether it’s through twitter or Moodle. I think that really makes the campus when you’re far away. Just reach out and get involved in the community here at Edinburgh. Embrace Edinburgh life and not let it pass you by. Every opportunity, I would just go for it. This is a very amazing city. You can do basically everything here. You can find lots of amazing places. Explore the city. Walk around. Don’t spend all your time just in the library. Talk to people. Meet people. And really enjoy your time here.
