He Finally Got A New Basketball! (Day 1934) | Clintus.tv

(upbeat music) – Good morning, guys,
it’s the aftermath, Monday morning, after
that wicked crazy storm from last night. Bryce and I are up early,
I pulled him out of bed was it 6:45? I think it was 6:45 in
the morning, woke him up, said yo, we got some work to do. And that’s, the
best time to do it, ’cause it’s only
like 78, 75 degrees, somewhere around there, and it’s really humid, though. And so as the sun
continues to rise, even though there’s
cloud cover right now, it’s gonna continue
to get warmer and warmer until it gets hotter and hotter and then it’s
gonna be miserable, ’cause it’s
gonna be hot and humid. Things we gotta
get done, though, the pool is number one, right? Skim it, brush it,
clean out the baskets, I did that earlier. Chemicals, get
everything in the pool so it doesn’t turn green. So it’s still
nice and clean to swim, then we’ve gotta
blow out the patio here, ’cause as you saw last night, the water was all
the way up to here, like almost the
middle of the patio, and so there was a
trail of leaves and dirt and of course the leaves and
dirt that blew off the sides, so we got all that to do, and then we’re gonna
clean off his basketball court, and then eventually,
probably tonight, we’ll mow the grass, ’cause that’s due
for a trim as well, but it’s still wet. Our sprinklers
were set automatically, so it just got
watered like an hour ago. But yeah, that’s how
we’re starting our day. How’s yours? (leaf blower roaring) Just wrapped up a
long lunch with my dad. It’s been over a month
since we’ve seen each other. I think the last
time we saw each other was actually when he
came over for dinner, or I don’t know if it was
when he came over for dinner, or it was the last
time he was at our house swimming with
Travis and Victoria. Either way, it’s
been about a month, since I’ve seen him, and about three weeks
since I’ve talked to him. So it’s just
one of those things, where he’s not too far away, it’s just one of those things where I just
gotta pick up the phone, call him up, and go, yo,
let’s go grab some lunch. So we went and grabbed lunch, we chitchatted
about various things, just catching up
with him feels good. I caught up with
my mom last night, it’s just one of those
things where I’m trying to touch base with my
parents and my brothers, speaking of which,
I talked to my brother, Austin, Brother number two,
earlier today, just real quick, brief, checking in with him,
seeing how him and the wife are. And I just texted
brother number three, Travis, to check in with him, I haven’t
heard back from him yet, so hopefully he gives me
a buzz at some point today, just checking in, just
making sure life’s good, things are all well. I hate the fact that we
live so close to each other, and yet we go so long without
talking with each other. None of us are
really like, talkers, like we don’t pick
up the phone and say, hey, what’s going on, just like,
chitchat, shoot the breeze, we’re not that kinda people, but it still bothers me
that we don’t talk that much. And I’m just as guilty, I’m not putting
the blame on them, it’s equal blame
all the way around, so. I returned home
and found all three, all four of the
other family members in the exact same
place that I left them. And Baby’s on the couch. Tiffany was on the couch, she just went upstairs,
’cause I told her we’re gonna go leave the house, but she
was on the couch watching TV, Sierra’s on the family computer playing Minecraft with
her friend from school, and Bryce is in his room, playing Overwatch
with his friends, exactly where I left them. Which, I’m jealous, because
if I didn’t leave the house, I would’ve been in that
room the entire time as well, so I can’t fault ’em for that. Doesn’t make for an
exciting day, sorry. – [Tiffany] Bryce is complaining
for some reason right now that we’re going to sushi. Is he not feeling okay? Ooh, how’d that feel? (laughing) – All right,
we’re not coming back. You know why? (claps) Low blood sugar, he’s hangry. – Sushi.
– Sushi. We’re at a sushi place, and we got sushi,
teriyaki chicken, spring rolls and edamame. – [Tiffany] And soup.
– And soup. – [Clintus] Alright, threw some
wasabi on Bryce’s Philly roll. – I think I’ve had it like– – [Clintus] You forgot, you forgot what it tasted like. – I don’t like it. Uh. Mm. – [Clintus] Burn your nose? (laughing) It’s not that bad, right? Okay, we are full with sushi, at least I am, are you full? I’m full, I feel full, and I didn’t even eat that much. I only ate one roll. I ate some edamame
and a little bit of soup, but I had a big
lunch with my dad, which is just a few
hours ago, kinda bummed,– – Where’d you go? – Went to Red Robin
– Oh, nice. – Had a big burger and fries. And of course I’m not
full, and so I’m like, oh. We went to get sushi, of course, when I was on a full stomach. Rip. Oh, okay, so what we’re
looking for while we’re here, the reason why we’re here, is because Bryce
has been a little lonely on the basketball court. He wants to
play some basketball, but what happened? – All mine popped. We literally just bought one and then a week
later, at my party,– – [Clintus] Yep.
– someone popped it. – Yep, so we need
to take that bush down, but I’ve been
waiting to pull the bush out before we bought
a new basketball, but it’s been like month, and
he hasn’t played basketball, so he’s overdue for some basketball. So we’re gonna buy
him a basketball today. And we’re gonna
hit a basketball court. We’re gonna hit
the basketball court and then
tomorrow he has practice. His practices are
gonna start back up, ’cause we’re
done with traveling. So boom. There they are. – We’re done.
– That’s the one? – No, I know. – [Clintus] See,
these are outdoor right here. What size you need, 28? – [Bryce] 28.5. – [Clintus] There it is,
right there. – [Bryce] Wait, is this,
what’s this? – [Clintus] That’s a 29.5.
– [Bryce] It is? – [Clintus] Yep. Grab it. – Yeah, the green
one I won at school, – [Clintus] Yeah. – Tanner was playing with it
– Yeah, It just sucks, that bush
sucks, we need to rip it out. Rip it out. So after last night’s storm, it reminded me that I
really need to call a lawn guy to get out there to
get rid of those bushes, trim the tree, and then
actually just do landscaping. It’s been over a
month since my buddy, Jerry, came out and
helped, it’s, actually, it’s been almost two months, it’s actually
been almost two months. All the bushes are overgrown, and lookin’ really
straggly and ragged, so I’m gonna call who
the previous owner used and get a quote from him,
see what he’d charge to do both front
and back monthly. Hopefully it’s reasonable and we’ll have a good
looking yard year-round. Course we’re down
the ice cream aisle. Tiffany’s sweet tooth.
– I can right here, yogurt. – Yeah, frozen yogurt, right? – Don’t look at the other stuff. – I still have
my Ben & Jerry’s tub from like three weeks ago. I haven’t finished
my Chunky Monkey. – [Tiffany] You’re crazy. – I have been busy. I’ve been gone for
three weeks, literally. – [Tiffany] I lasted a week. – Yeah, yours lasted a week. Now we’re just kinda
like looking to figure out what, you need a big one? She’s gonna get a big one. – No ice cream cones. – You want ice cream cones?
Oh, okay. I think the pints
are perfect for me ’cause I get a couple
bites and put it away. Couple bites and put it away. Now granted I could do the
same thing with a big tub, but–
– (laughing) Your frost, your mini frost–
– They’d eat it all. Oh, get the frost? – We’re just getting
frostbitten or whatever. – Hey, look at this, Ben &
Jerry’s has almond milk ones. Maybe I’ll get almond milk. Yeah, I’m a big fan
of the little pints. It’s my style. I just need to eat it
faster, that’s my problem. I need to eat it faster. – Peanut butter cup. – [Clintus] Oh yeah, there
you go, that’s your jam. Sea salt caramel pretzel. Oh, well, yeah. So we’re back home now, and Sierra finally purchased Playstation Plus and some Playstation gift cards to purchase some
games for her PS4. She’s had a PS4 now
for almost two months, and has not purchased any games or Playstation Plus,
to play online. And so she had
a Target gift card and two Visa gift cards,
plus $25 in cash. So while we were
at Target, I told her, gather it up, figure
out how much you have, and then purchase what you
need to purchase from Target. Then you can come
home and do it that way. So she bought
Playstation Plus for 12 months, and then she bought
two Playstation gift cards so she just put the codes in and then she can buy
whatever games she wants. So she has Playstation Plus now, and what game are you gonna buy? – Overwatch. – Overwatch, you can play
with Bryce, Mason, Brayden, all your friends, right? So how many people do
we have now that play? – Five? – Five. – Plus me? Or five including me. – Five including you. – [Clintus] So we almost
have a full team. That’s pretty dope. – Yeah. – [Clintus] Sweet, alright,
continue, continue. I know a lot of
you guys were asking, when’s Sierra gonna
get her Playstation, when’s she, she’s
had her Playstation. Basically, when
I got my PS4 Pro, like two, three months ago, she had her Playstation, but she didn’t have the money
to buy her Playstation Plus, just like Bryce, Bryce has to
pay for his Playstation Plus, so he gave me his
whatever, 60 bucks cash, a couple weeks ago, and he
purchased his Playstation Plus. You know, kids
gotta earn that money. So they, that’s what all
the yard work and pool work that Bryce did this morning,
that pays for that kinda stuff. For his cell phone,
same thing with Sierra. Sierra cleans the toilets, and
helps Mom with the vacuuming and the floors, that’s
how they earn their money. Gotta get a job, kid, get a job. Alright, so Sierra’s
downloading Overwatch, getting things ready for their
big video game party tonight. And Bryce just could
not wait to get his shoes on and try out his new basketball. So here we go. What you got there,
you got a Spalding? – Yeah.
– [Clintus] Outdoor basketball? What is it, 28.5? – Yep.
– [Clintus] Yep. – It’s already gettin’ dirty. – [Clintus] It’s
already gettin’ dirty. Let’s go. Oh, first shot,
right off the rip. You haven’t touched a
basketball in how many weeks? – Ah. (laughing) – Slippery shoes there. How’s it feel? – Good.
– [Clintus] Feel good? – I remember when Sierra
and me used to always play around the world early. – [Clintus] Yep.
– When we first got the house. – [Clintus] Seriously, though,
it’s been like a month. – Yeah.
– [Clintus] Since you’ve been to a basketball practice, right? – Mhmmm.
– [Clintus] ‘Cause coach, we were gone for a week, then
Coach was gone for a week, then we were gone
for another week, right? Shoo. Oh, feeling good, feeling good, that’s one for one. Nice. Nice. – [Bryce] That’s off. – [Clintus] Oh,
I scared you, huh? – [Bryce] Ooh.
– [Clintus] Scared you, huh? You didn’t even
look at the hoop. You didn’t even
look at the hoop. Shoo. Ooh. Coming at you, Mom. Look at that mommy. Look at that mommy. Mm. Reverse lay-up. With the pump. – Ooh.
– [Clintus] With the pump. Try it without the pump, just
try and get it going in there. – [Bryce] Okay. – [Clintus] Ah.
– Ow. That hurt. – [Clintus] Nice, there you go. So how’s the basketball feel? – Awesome.
– It’s got that grip? – Yeah.
– Yeah. It’s hot, huh? Even with the sun down,
you only, after 10 minutes you’re kind of like woo. Anyways, tomorrow,
back to basketball practice. And he’s got skills, and then Thursday he’s got
his team practice, and– – I need those skills. – Get back, he
needs to get back. He’s, you know, so
here’s the thing, guys, he went two months
without touching video games. Two months, without
touching his Playstation, right? And then it was
like, once day, I was like, why don’t you
play your Playstation, aren’t you bored? Why don’t you go play
with your Playstation? Oh, okay, and then it was
like he got addicted again, and it was all about Playstation
for the last two months. Or not two months,
but like June and July, it’s all been Playstation. – [Bryce] Is this mine? – It’s mine. So I feel like he’s
taking a break from video games, and then he
binge watched on those, and now he’s took a
break from basketball, he’s getting ready
to binge back on that. Got a new basketball,
gonna hit practice again, I think it’s gonna be
back in the basketball, like yo, let’s go,
let’s go, let’s go. Speaking of binging, Tiffany’s
busting out her ice cream that she’s bought. Her light peanut butter cup. – [Tiffany] I don’t
share, this is mine. – [Clintus] Me and Bryce
busted out our Ben & Jerry’s, we still have our leftovers. And she bought cones,
some waffle cones, ’cause I want ice cream cones. I do wanna try that, though. Why is it light? – ‘Cause it doesn’t
have as many chunks. – [Clintus] No,
doesn’t have as much– – Nonfat milk.
– [Clintus] Hmm. Arissa. – [Mason] On soldier. – Soldier’s a classic,
pew pew pew, wanna say hi to the vlog? – [Mason] Hi vlog. (laughing) – And on that note, guys, that is the end of our vlog, thank you so much for watching, I really appreciate it, we appreciate every minute
