I Play a $10,000 Satellite to the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl!

my diamond sky
I know what you’re thinking Jeff what
are you playing at the Aria for here to
turn a 10k satellite into 300k
tournament entry making dreams come true
all thanks exposure from the poker vlog
people are having trouble monetizing
this is how you monetize High Roller
fans reach out to you and give you some
free rolls give you some opportunities
win win $100 plus dinners just the tip
of the iceberg you too can monetize your
blog $10,000 satellite to a three
hundred thousand dollar tournament
didn’t expect to be playing this to kick
off the summer but
reality has a weird way of making things
happen without the vlog I never would
have been granted this opportunity so
thank you to Aaron his generosity and
second place finish in the Bellagio High
Roller let’s turn this 10k into 300 K
then into five K or five million should
I say few steps ahead of us but there’s
no reason we can’t win it
let’s win today
the field looks soft
our starting table is six handed six max
tournament you see one is ambush
see – is Stefan sondheimer
c3 is live Maury
c4 is open c5 is Dan Shak
and I’m in seat six
so overall with the field I’m pretty
happy with this table draw and
positioning two killers on my left Liv
Boeree and Dan Shak and an open seats
were five handed
with blinds at 500 1000 1000 for 5
handed and Liv Boeree opens to 3000
under the gun we’re on the button width
to read jacks definitely good 3 bet here
but you do a position and might be over
playing our hand a little bit she’s
pretty tight so we put in the call the
blinds fold flop comes Queen 6 8 she
checks thinking she has like a mid pair
type and maybe ace king at this point so
I want to bet for value bet 3,500 and
she puts in the call turn is a for
putting two flush draws out there still
think we have the best hand she checks
and I bet 8,000 and she quickly folds
pocket jacks are good with blinds at 500
1000 with a 1,500 big blind ante front
of the gun with 5 7 of clubs raise it up
to 3,500 trying to target the big blind
who want to get heads up versus him even
with a small suit connector
unfortunately a mush calls Stefan calls
Liv Boeree calls out of the small blind
in the big blind folds flop comes jack
eight for two spades one club
I think we got a barrel and barrel big
very draw heavy board seven high never
good so let’s see if we can get some
folds with our range advantage bet
twelve thousand and cush and Stefan fold
and Liv Boeree calls from the small
blind putting her on maybe a team Queen
of Spades flush draw nine ten
flush draw a straight draw combos some
Jack acts rarely pocket eights or pocket
fours turn is the Jack of Diamonds we
started this hand with around 65,000
it’s pretty pretty close if I should
barrel this card I showed a lot of
strength betting into three people so I
think we can rep the jack and hopefully
get her to fold her flush draws and
straight draws maybe eight X combos
pocket nines hands like that so if we
had two Jack we’re gonna bet 20 2007 up
an easy Ripper Jam giving her a bad
price we do about 22,000 and she folds
we now have 100,000 back to starting
stacked after losing a few pots early
30-minute levels 38 entrants so far at
the Aria
with blinds at 1000 1500 1500 cutoff Joe
McKeon opens – for thousands
Dieterich fast flats the 4000 on the
button
I’m the small blind with East three of
hearts one hundred and thirty thousand
chip stacks so I put in the three bet to
18,000 some guy I’ve never seen before
is in the big blind where five handed
and he puts into the cold four balls of
41,000 he has about 150,000 to start
action folds around to us can we put in
the warm 5 do we have fold equity 3x in
his cold for we got the ace blocker
we got the suited broad way do we go for
it in this spot I’m here to play
fearless but feel like he’s got a big
pair a skiing ace queen and he’s not
gonna fold so we put in the fold and
live to see another hand
with blinds at one thousand two thousand
two thousand or five handed new table
see one is Sam’s horrible see two is Joe
McKeon see three is re Engel I’m in c4
c5 is vacant and seat six is friend Mike
action folds to me in the cutoff and I
opened five thousand with ace Jack Ace
of Diamonds Jack of Hearts everyone
folds to Joe McKeon the big blind who
puts in the call started this hand with
about eighty five thousand for Joe is
about 150,000 Bob comes Jack three deuce
two diamonds he checks we bet for
thousands he calls the turn is in off
suit for each X who size up with our top
top and wheel draw to eleven thousand
and he puts in the show up all and after
asking me to see my chips putting us to
the test
what do you do what hands beat us could
have some sets could have jak 3 jak do’s
Jack for suited possibly depending for
the big blind I don’t think he has juice
3 juice for kite folds those free 5 6 is
the nuts when you peel one off try to
get there and then do a big jam as
opposed to a small raise it tough to say
think our hand it might be a little bit
too strong to fold in this spot and a
winner-take-all mostly format I think
you got a play to win kind of sucks that
we have the ace of diamonds that
eliminates one of his possible
semi-bluff combos it could be bluffing
with something like Jack acts of
diamonds or King King para diamonds
whatever so we put in the call and he
shows ace 5 of Hearts probably the worst
hand we could be up against
the rivers of brick and we’re out of the
Aria $10,000 300k super high roll or
satellite big shout out to Erin to put
us in such an event
appreciate the opportunity good warm-up
with a series playing with all these
top-level pros you get a good feel for
what they’re all about so I’m gonna take
a lot away from this experience and
become a better player I’m still not
sure how much I regret my call with ace
Jack obviously I was horribly wrong but
you know might be just too weak to pull
these check on that board against an
aggressive player make sure you hit that

  1. It hurts to see your huge opportunity go up in flames. There will be many more to come! I would have just bought the Main Event seat now. Just to see that Main Event ticket in your wallet everyday can really feel inspiring.

  2. You have to call his shove there. No regrets. Plenty of times he's just defending and barreling a bluff or semi-bluff there. And winner take all you have to get those chips.

  3. Unlucky. We already knew the outcome because the tournament is on as this video is released. But a good addition to the vlog.

  4. Sorry about the outcome great vlogs you have the best music out of anybody enjoy watching your vlogs keep it up

  5. The Journey Has Just Started!…. That Cashier Chip shot was a Picasso!!!😎♠GP❤💸🍺♣GL♦#ManzCoinzMafiaz

  6. Tough beat. You block A5 obv. Maybe ROT but i think having the Ad makes it a fold. A lot of the hands you beat are him floating the flop and then stop and go on the turn with the NFD. Best line is probably call off when your ace in the non-diamond and fold when your ace is the diamond. Really tough to do in the moment though and really easy to level into, "If I'm folding this, they are just going to run over me."

Love the vlogs! I've been calling a 6 figure bink for you this summer since the start of the year. Don't let me down.

  7. A5 is sick there.. but your flop bet is weak enough that no hand should really surprise you on turn. He’s probably used to getting picked off that Joe is probably in nut pedal mode .

  8. My opinion; you did better then the smaller tournaments. You seemed more aggressive. Before you were folding to people when you had a better flop then the time before when you had a 60% chance to win the hand and folded because they bet half of the pot. Still enjoy watching you. You will win one soon and then no stopping you. You will then be able to afford any of the woman in your videos…

  9. The check/call flop, check/raise turn line often has 1 pair crushed – baluga theorem. Also when a person asks to "see my stack" and then raises, that's extremely strong. A bluffer will generally do anything they can to avoid annoying their opponent or talking to them before betting/raising. McKeenan is still a douche, however.

  10. Let’s turn this 10k into 300k then turn the 300k into 5k! Sounds about right!! Lol good luck only made it this far so far

  11. Binks the gutty NOOoooOOOooOooOoOooo!! …got ur experience up at least… May the flops be with you, Boski!

  12. Boski gotta size up on that post-flop bet sir,$4k into a $13k pot with that drenched board straight and flush draw out there pricing him into smash one of his outs Ouch!!! You make it $10k or pot size he folds.

  13. I’m happy for you and the opportunity you got to get your feet wet against some tough opponents. Brutal turn card for you, it could easily have been a KJs/QJs type hand.
Congrats on the free roll and kudos to you for the vlog and the hard work and dedication to your craft that has brought you to this point in time. Good luck in the wsop!

  14. Knew you didn't make it since I'm on Poker Go watching the SHRB, but always look forward to your vlogs. GL in the Colossus.

  15. Ditch that Keurig and get yourself a nice coffee maker and some nice coffee beans. You're drinking shit, watered down coffee.

  16. My offer of a Fuku burger is still open. I'll even include an ante of a box of dog biscuits!! Enough of that "Yellow Fin" BS.

  17. Next 60 days on this vlog… couple final tables, a 6 figure score, 20k subscribers. Let's goooooo $$$

  18. Would not sweat the call there, was close maybe but he could have so much else including lower pairs or even worse J…keep up the good play and hopefully see a nice cash next month.

  19. it would be interesting to know how the hand values change at 5 players, is TPTK a typically winning hand? i don't know

  20. Damn. Didn’t like the value bet on turn. That luck box is never folding for 3-4K…10k and you’re still playing. Def great experience.

  21. Dam would of been nice to see the run good in this tourney…. coming your way soon champ… hopefully me and the bro will run into you at the series. LFG!.

  22. Congrats brother on the satty…despite the outcome you were able to play with some of the best in the world!!! if that's not winning idk what is! I know you'll be busy w series but look forward to running into ya this summer and try to get more coaching before your rates raise lol. What a sick table draw…smh!

  23. why would he shove Jd xd ; he s got too much equity. Ad in ur hand blocks his bluffs heavily. he has to have something like Kd5d or Qd 5d for a combo draw. otherwise seems like all value. also when he asks to see ur stack seems like he is trying to get in ur head a little bit and sell the bluff. nice opportunity though to play this satty and test ur mettle against some of the best.

  24. Dont be to hard on yourself Jeff. Opportunities are like buses. If one passes you by, no worries, another is right around the corner. Dream big. Love the vlog. GG.

  25. Sad to see you get bumped out. I would of called with the A-J as well. Serious pressure with the field and the stakes, it was exciting to see the hands you were in. Loved the DMB as well as the music choice!

  26. on AJ losing hand, ya i think its just unlucky against a player who is more then capable of a semi bluff in that spot. gg

  27. I rarely question the great ValBoski, and I'm sure I'll get killed for this, but my man I would fold the AJ 100% of the time there. Yes, you don't want to seem like a weak nit that can be ran over, and yes you need 1st, but you can't get first when you're out, and I don't see him showing up with less than two pair, a set, or most likely the A5/56. When you bet 4k into 13k on the flop all draws including gut-shots are going to be calling. I'm not saying that was a bad sizing, because you invited the lower pairs and weak draws to call there, but when he rips it all in for 50k+ more over your 11k bet…what do you beat there? As you mentioned you even have the Ad. Exactly KdJd, maayyybe? IMHO ya just gotta muck it and live to fight another day.

  28. please excuse my ignorance, but isnt 300,000/10,000 =30
meaning 1-30 is getting a seat to this $300,000 buy in tourney…..whats the deal here? if thats the case you would have to be a fool to enter?

  29. These are just all guys and gals with 2 fu***ng cards and a backer Any Given Sunday . They all put their pants on one leg at at time…..except when they put them on ….they suck out on the river … More Cowbell !

  30. sick a 10,000 sat! haha… u are a brave man boski, shame u didnt win a ticket! keel it up man, love the vlog!

  31. Question is, do any of them watch your blog too.. I bet Liv does, she's a information informed student of the game… she and Igor stay on top of things nicely and still have time to give back through their betterment works. On your rail my friend.. white caucasian guy 60 to 100..

  32. That’s the tournament life. 1 bad play can ruin your day. You’re so due for a big cash in bro. Keep grinding

  33. Nice Vlog as always Bowski! Very generous of Aaron! Hope you all have much success in the future and congrats to Aaron on the 2nd place finish.

  34. The 2+2 WSOP Fantasy League has closed. Out of 47 Entrants I am the only one who put you on a Team. You join Kristen Bicknell, Ryan Laplante, Alan Ari Engel, Bart Hanson, Phil Collins, Michael Coombs, Doug Polk, Brian Rast, and Dzmitry Urbanovich
. Run Well! The player chosen most was Stephen Chidwick (22).

  35. Seems like a very exciting opportunity, sitting at a table with some great players. Best of luck during the WSOP. I love reading some of the comments, so many poker pros trolling and nary a WSOP bracelet among them. Keep up the great work.

  36. Anyone who would stake you to go up against players of that caliber HAS to be certifiably insane. You should stick to events like the Colossus and similar ones at the WSOP where your potential ROI is something higher than zero, because to torch their money like this is just wrong. Who the heck do you think you are bro?

  37. Wouldn’t you have been better off playing cash game with the 10k..just my logic…your still a boss regardless of the outcome.Hopefully I can meet you over the next year or two and I will for sure treat you to the 100 dollar min dinner and a few beers 😁🤘

  38. you sound like a dead body (no surprise). but in the meantime, for such a long time, every VLOG of yours, the word you say with most excitement is 'and we are OUT'. perhaps you are just very excited of getting knocked out.

  39. Maybe it’s he cash game player inside of me talking …but ever heard of pot control? With your AJ hand

  40. jeff that was just a bad beat. seen mfckeenan play before. his mo is to stay wide in the blinds and peel. fyi he loves to go all in with the nuts. you are not the first!

  41. hope you get more big buy in satellite opportunities. This was the best sweat video i have seen and i have seen a quite a few of yours Jeff. Keep on swinging 🙂

  42. First off why do you photo shop pictures of girls in your videos?? You come off like a complete douche, its obvious you dont know Abigail Ratchford .. im just curious why you insist doing that.

Second that was a horrible call, easy easy lay down, put way too much in with one pair especially in a 10K satellite, no wonder you play on America's Cardroom lol "mid level pro"

  43. That’s ugly , the hand was too. Dang bro , that dude would have put money in on brick turn too , that shit is frustrating. You do run like dogshit in key spots , you will go super deep soon , multiple runs in your future.
