  1. Mark I saw GFR in Nashville, TN in about 1974 at the Municipal Auditorium. A great show and my favorite rock band of all time. Thanks for decades of great music and memories.

  2. God bless Mark Farner he has the biggest heart & for his gift of the greatest rock songs with or without GFR…….

  3. They didn't use cowbells in their old heavy rock. They lost me at some kind of wonderful and locomotion, hated those songs from some of my favorite Hard Rockers, they when down hill from there. But before Locomotion one of may favorite bands of all time. Their early 70's rock concerts are as good as it gets.

  4. Love GFR with Farner but there is a reason he got booted. Not exactly sure what it is. It could be several things

  5. Mark Farner looks GREAT! I am 61 and have been a fan of Mark Farner for years, since I was 13. I remember when he had the LONGEST HAIR in ROCK!!!🚂🚂🚂🚂Mark Farner IS Grand Funk Railroad!!!🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂

  6. Mark is one of he most soulful singers I ever heard. How cool to know he hung with wagner who not only played with Alice cooper, but played solos on Train kept a rollin and other songs on Aerosmit's get your wings album and some say maybe even some of walk this way. Even playing on Kiss Destroyer album when Ace was too out of it to work. Anyway. Farner will always be one of my favorite singers and Gfunk comes alive will always be in my top ten album playlist.

  7. Grand funk wrote 2 good songs American band and I’m your captain. They did not write some kinda wonderful and locomotion.

  8. I love you Mark Farner. He is Grand Funk. Not those fake guys claiming to be Grand Funk. Mark, if you're reading this, I'm really sorry about the loss of your son Jessie. No parent should have to bury their children. My heart goes out to you and your family.

  9. I never understood the underestimation of Mark as a guitar player. He is a killer guitar player!

  10. Grand funk was at their rockin’ best as a three piece. When they added the keyboard; it went straight to pop rubbish; they sold out. Sorry to be so nasty and blunt, but it’s true.

  11. Mark wrote 80% of their songs, yet a-holes Don and Mel kicked him out of the band, kept the name and royalties. Mark needs to go into the Music Hall by himself……
