ASHLEY: MGM SPRINGFIELD GENERATED NEARLY 10 MILLION DOLLARS FROM GAMBLING OPERATIONS IN ITS FIRST WEEK OPEN. THE STATE GAMING COMMISSION RELEASED A REVENUE REPORT TODAY ON MGM SPRINGFIELD’S OPENING WEEK. THE REPORT SHOWS THE CASINO EARNED 2.1 MILLION DOLLARS IN GROSS REVENUES FROM TABLE GAMES AND 7.3 MILLION DOLLARS FROM SLOT MACHINES FROM ITS AUGUST 24TH OPENING TO AUGUST 31ST. THAT ADDS UP TO ABOUT 2.4 MILLION DOLLARS IN STATE REVENUES.
