The Animals – The House of the Rising Sun Mafia III Trailer 3 Casino Battlefield V !!!

There is… a house… in New Orleans
They call the Rising Sun
And it’s been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God, I know I’m one.
[Instrumental]
My mother was a tailor!
She sewed my new blue jeans!
My father was a gamblin’ man!
Down in New Orleans
Now the only thing a gambler needs,
Is a suitcase and trunk!
And the only time he’ll be satisfied
Is when he’s on a drunk
[Instrumental]
Oh mother…
Tell your children,
Not to do what I have done!
Spend your lives in sin and misery!
In the House of the Rising Sun
[Instrumental]
Well, I got one foot on the platform!
The other foot on the train!
I’m goin’ back to New Orleans,
To wear that ball and chain!
[Instrumental]
Well, there is a house in New Orleans!
They call the Rising Sun!
And it’s been the ruin of many a poor boy!
And God I know I’m one
[Instrumental]

  4. I grew up listening to this song. Being born I Yugoslavia what it was. This was the first 45 my late father bought me. I was amazed by this song, and to this day though I am 54 years old with having lost my mother, father and my sister in a span of four years, this song still brings me to my knees and face full of tears. Thank you, every time I hear this song , I remember my lost family. Though life was tough with having a drink grand father and turbulent childhood, this song was always a lightning rod.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  13. The magic of this recording kicks in right at the start with that brilliant riff from Hilton Valentine. He was overshadowed by Burdon, Price and Chandler, but their biggest hit was thanks to him.
