  1. The name Trump will mostly be remembered for one thing. Cheap knockoff attempts at bonafide excellence…which almost always resulted in electroplate, deceit and mediocrity.

  2. He is so stupid to think it is a mental health problem, it is a gun problem! Other countries have gun laws and don’t have the mass shootings that the USA has.

  3. @Salvini Have you no fear of God?.. Take them in to show of Winsor
paints.. You deny the power of a picture photo collection and a public
gesture for the world to see?…Afraid it might be greater than a wall
or a failed moon landing?? have them pick a color and deploy them into

  5. this is NOT a mental health issue. If it is, then he should admit that Americans are the craziest people on the planet and America is the craziest country. Why? Because no one else has this problem.
Calling it a mental health issue is just sweeping it back under the rug. Doing nothing while pretending that you are dealing with it.

  6. Talking, talking but not saying anything. I feel insulted when he speaks, as if we're stupid. I actually feel my brain short circuit when he talks. He has no connection with reality, reason, logic, facts, science, and a freaking moral compass. I miss Obama who did have these qualities. But also Bush had these qualities. I didn't agree with Bush's policies, but that doesn't matter, the policies at least where informed. How is it possible that he ended up in the White House? I mean look up Obama speeches right now, it like a breathtaking breeze of fresh air. The fundamentals that I talked about are so boring when a president has them, but so unexpectedly, and grotesquely toxic when they're absent in a president. I'm just feeling sick.

  7. Is the mental health problem in other countries different, like China, Japan, to name a few? You cannot go out and commit a mass shooting just because you're depressed!!!!! Hate k!lls. Trump rhetoric k!lls. Just call as it is.

  8. Just as I suspected: Trump backing down from his earlier stance because the NRA has told him to.
    Pssssst:
Trump is the one who loosened guns laws for the mentally ill.

  9. The ideology of white supremacy is a mental illness. There are no supreme race because everyone bleed red and will die.

  10. He was never taught why for profit mental institutions were destroyed. The patients rarely got the proper treatment, and the operators took the goverment money and ran with it.

  11. Some people may have a mental health problem , but most don't.
So we need to be careful that if we have a headache at 10 years old and went to the doctor, it could be considered a mental illness 20 years down the road when the 10 year old is 30 and attempts to by again.
A four year old with a wild imagination coud be considered mentally ill decades later.
We all know that if we give them an inch, they will take a mile.
Unless they are mentally ill and can't function at all, bad guys will be able to get a gun.
Plenty of things are illegal , but if i were dropped in any large city I would be able to find drugs, prostitution and guns in less than 24 hours.
In fact, before i turned 21, it was much easier to buy illegal drugs than it was to buy legal alcohol.

  12. Yes, its a mental health problem. But don't worry, you trumplicans will all have plenty of time to visit your psychiatrists in 2021.

  13. Its the mental democraps that are pushing the mental crazies to do violence! Look at Antifia. Why don't the democraps denounce them? Like my President denounced the KKK?

  14. "Guns are not the problem, guns does not push the trigger, people are the problem" So whats the solution Mr president? " Well don't take the guns from the people." Insanity!!!

  15. Mr. President Trump I say that we should be able to look in to all health records anyone buying a gun and of course background checks as well even though health records are private when buying a gun anyone on depression pills or any kind of mental illness in the past should not be able to get a gun I would love to work for you so if you need help let me know. God bless you and your family and you're doing a great job

  16. "A mental health problem" eh? Look in the mirror dude.
The next massacre is waiting, and the clock is ticking.

  17. america doesn't want guns in the hands of the mentally ill but it's OH KAY if a totally mentally deranged lunatic can be in total charge of the american military, trump is destruction/lawless carreer criminal war making failure,by spring of 2017 it was clear trump is a carreer criminal&should be removed by impeachment immediately, america is doomed, trump's war with iran begins in september

  18. Yes, it's the people who pull the trigger.
But what happens if there is no trigger to pull? Like in so many other countries. Without mass shootings btw. But still with mentally challenged people.
I really love the stupidity of America in that particular context. Shoot yourself up, every one of you gunnerds, then maybe the rest can have a serious country. After all, in terms of country age, America is nothing but a drunk teenager. Thinks it knows everything. Thinks it has done everything. Thinks no one else has a clue. Thinks it is god of the world. Yet not even 250y old, whereas other countries are three, four times that age.
    A drunk teenager.
Learn from your elders . Stupid teen.

  19. But I thought 45 didn’t have a problem with the white supremacy. Didn’t he say at some rallys where they was confrontation from extremists that there are good people on both sides. But since most of these mass shootings are from White Supremacists….now they are mentally ill???? Comeon Mr. President…..make up your mind. But I’m sure Americans will mull over this gun issue until another mass shooting comes along. Your a clueless country….I hope you know that.

  20. Mental health problem. I rarely agree with Trump but he's correct on this. Also lgbt is also mental health issues. They are technically called gender dysphoria.

  21. Okay, so save for the sake of argument that the mass glorification and industrialization of gun ownership and manufacturing in the States does not equate to America's '1.2 mass shootings per day' problem and the problem really is wide-spread mental illness.

Okay, so then why has Trump planned in the 2018 and 2019 fiscal budgets to sequester HHS and its many mental health R&D and aid subsidiaries like the Public Health Service (PHS) which included the elimination the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)?
Or what about the annual reporting and research done by the FBI and the Police Corps about these shootings show that less than 25% of mass shooters have any history of mental illness including any new developments found in autopsies?
Or why has the gun lobby spent so much money on defending the acquisition of easily bought lethal firearms and defending the measure of being able to walk about openly with a loaded weapon rather than spending that money on helping quell mental illness if one quality is supposedly more prevalent that the other under this argument?

Given any kind of bettering mental health R&D and assisting those with mental instabilities in my opinion is a plus and would love to see these people properly cared for. But if your aim is to stop gun violence, there's probably a better solution… perhaps one that involves the only quantifiable aspect found at every single mass shooting. You know, the lethal firearms.

  22. You want gun control?

In truth, whether humans are all good, all bad, or something in between, the belief in authority is a superstition. If humans are so careless and malicious that they cannot be trusted to do the right thing on their own, how would the situation be improved by taking a subset of those very same careless, stupid and malicious humans and giving them societal permission to forcibly control all the others? It is not merely a different arrangement of humans that you seek, but the involvement of some superhuman entity, with rights that humans don't have, and virtues that humans don't have, which can be used to keep all the untrustworthy humans in line. to say that humans are so flawed that they need to be controlled, implies that something other than humans needs to do the controlling. NEWSFLASH: no matter how hard you study government, you will find it is always run entirely by humans.

So shut up with your crap. Please. Because all you are saying is, "I don't trust you to be my neighbor, but I do trust you to be my master."

  23. If I believed your votes actually counted then yes I agree with Trump again. Voter ID is mandatory to vote. Democrats could use this difference in opinion to end the electoral college. Then we would likely never have another republican president. Republicans usually win the presidency by electoral college.

  24. Well then, with his logic, almost half of the US, mostly Republicans, have mental problems for voting for this guy into office. It's the people who vote, not the machines.

  25. The mental health problem is orange, lies constantly, abuses Twitter, eats too many hamberders, and is an unstable bigot.

  26. Google stop being so anti history fact about this history of the american true history and it's lies that reveal the truth as it relates to it's truth's you do a great disservice to the truth

  27. Is there any doubt that the "shooter" was mentally ill? Or was he just a sick and spoiled little brat??? Don't forget the "no fly list"; a baby was on it!! Sounds great, but the devil is always in the details.

  28. There is zero evidence that mental health and mass murderers have any correlation. People that have mental health issues are at a far greater risk of becoming the victim of violence not the perpetrators of. They’re at a higher risk for suicide or violence from their family or partner. The rest of the world has similar numbers when it comes to those with mental health issues yet the US is the only place where they become extremely violent? This is not based in facts. Mental illness, like video games, is not the route of the problem. Period.

  29. 28 Shot, 5 Fatally, over Weekend in Democrat-Controlled Chicago. Democrat controlled Chicago. Where`s the outrage? Crickets.

  30. It's a mental health illness/evilness in people, that Trump is purposely exploiting, to manipulate the weakest. Trump incites violence on purpose, and he is hurting everyone including his own supporters, and he doesn't care who he runs over along the way.

  31. So, radical extremism, xenophobia and hatred are now symptoms of mental illness? AND they need 'help not prison'? Sounds like he's already given the ''good'' terrorists a pass.

  32. Lunatic guy with gun..
    Or
    Lunatic guy with knife..

Between these two situations, which one you think probably can do more harm?

  33. Republitards have claimed for YEARS that mental health is behind gun violence. Funny thing is, starting with Reagan, the have either greatly defunded or not increased funding for mental health care. F&%king frauds!

  34. Good job, MSNBC. Just let him spew his nonsense with your YouTube channel, without any comment or fact-check.
Just let him speak for himself and every viewer will surely be informed enough to spot all of his lies, right? 👍

  35. No one needs an assault weapon expect a soldier in action…… This is not mental health problem, it a too many guns and too many assault weapons that almost anyone can buy in various states without a real need or extensive background check….

  36. It is obviously not just a mental health issue. Other countries have crazy people, but only the US has all these mass shootings. Other countries face a mass shooting and quickly change their gun laws. Yet, over and over again we ignore the real cause of the problem, lax gun laws. The people of America want background checks on all gun purchases, even gun owners and Conservatives. It is long past time the our legislators listened to their constituents, instead of the NRA.

  37. Yes, "for help", by all means…just ask R.P. McMurphy how it worked out. Thanks Nurse Ratched, now our students and citizens feel so much safer!!!!

  38. You Dummies Gave Up Your Rights In The Name Of Terror. Now They Are Going To Take Away More Of Your Rights In The Name Of Mental Health. Congratulations, You Played Yourselves

  39. Most Countries Look At The Health Care System When Discussing Mental Health……In America Its Associated With Gun Control….

We Are Easily The Dumbest Nation…

  40. He really just tried to link white supremacist mass murders to a lack of voter IDs???

Republicans will try every way they can to cheat next election.

  41. We have a problem w the President provoking fear of different colored people and inciting his worshippers to murder unarmed families as they go to church, shop, attend public events….

  42. Basic logic: America has the worst mass shooting problem in the world. Mass shootings are the result of insanity. Therefore, America is insane.

  43. The USA has cornered the market on nutters! It doesn't happen in any other countries so he MUST be right! Wake up America, he's saying you're all nut jobs!

  44. Guess who is backtracking again on gun control……King Clown Trump!
Remember this is the same guy who made it easier for people with mental issues to buy guns. It was one of the first things he did when he came into office.

  45. Thank you President Trump for passing the First Step Act which is the biggest prison reform legislation in decades – and helps undo the damage done to people of color through mass incarceration thanks to Joe Biden and Bill Clinton #KAG2020

  46. How come it's an ideological issue when buildings get blown up , and abortion clinics, churches and mosques get shot up and burned down ,but it's a mental health problem when a mass shooting occurs and gun control is brought up ? Since when did good old radical idealism and/or racism become insufficient to explain this type of atrocity ?

  47. I am extremely uncomfortable with the idea of re-opening mental "institutions". Mostly because I have a LOT of questions about who would be running these places, what kind of treatment (if any) would be administered, and who would be determining what qualifies a person to be committed.

  48. Does the Clown have a new wig, I mean hair do? Does he even know what the fk he is Ramblin on about? I quit listening when he became repetitive

  49. I am an avid #MentalHealthAwareness advocate and spoken word performer, and this makes me so sad. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my YouTube channel. I'm not saying that there isn't a link between certain #mentalhealth issues and violence. What I'm saying is that, when we put the focus on #mentalillness we're helping to make the average person believe that mental illness equals criminal. So we need to stop blaming the mental illness and start blaming the individuals. ❤✌🏽
