The first one was obviously – it was on my
birthday in 2011. It was really nice, was’t it? To know that
we’d won five and the bonus number. The numbers just came out. There was a gap,
then the other ones come out and that was absolutely fantastic. And then the second ticket, I actually drive
around the country in my work. And I bought this particular one at the Co-Op in Lichfield.
And I gave the girl the slip my I said “Will you put that on for the Lottery” – The Euro,
which happened to be £119 Million. It was a super one. And it was’t until I got home that I realised
that she’d actually put it on for the following Tuesday draw. So I was a little bit annoyed
in all fairness! I though “£20 for the big draw – It’s the wrong one.” And all weekend
I was moaning about this ticket being the wrong ticket. So, on the Tuesday, called up about ten past
eleven, and I said “Are we rich?” She said “We’ve won £2.50” and then she just
said “Oh my God.” About five or six times. I could’t get it out of her. And then she
told me and I went “Oh my God!” It’s going to be changing for the boys. Our
boys and their children. Going to… buy them houses.
– So it’s already affected quite a lot of people in a nice way. I enjoy work and I really enjoy the job
that I’ve got now. To the extent that – definitely no plans of giving it up yet. I’m going to continue playing and I’d like
to win the big, big one this time, and make a lot of people happy.
