War Card Game : War Card Game Rules: Breaking a Tie

So of course since we’re playing with a finite
number of cards and they only have thirteen
different values, it’s not uncommon for a
war to come to a tie. So what do you do? Well,
what you do goes like this. We’ve each thrown
out an ace. You threw out the prettiest card
in the deck I might add, and it’s time to
go to war. So I put out my cards. There’s
a three. You put out your cards. Do an up
card. There’s a three. So what do you do now.
Well, we send in more troops if you will.
Put out another set and turn one up, and then
I do the same. I’ve got to beat your five
over there. I happen to have a jack so we
just had to go to an extra battle if you will
and, you know, I won but what did you expect.
I’m a game expert.
