War Card Game : War Card Game Rules: Shuffling the Cards

Now, one question that might come up when
you’re playing is, do you allow players at
the table to shuffle their cards that aren’t
in play? You know like if….do you allow
this? And you know it’s kind of a moot point.
You know if you don’t allow it, that might
be silly, because we’re talking about randomness
and it is what it is. You know if you want
to say, no, the randomness should be whatever
the shuffle is at the start of the game and
there should be no shuffling in the middle,
fine, but it’s six of one, half a dozen of
the other. Remember that War is a game to
be played as fun and it’s a game to be played
to teach kids how to count and how to appreciate
shapes. You know, hearts, clubs, spades, diamonds.
So, heck, if a kid wants to sit there and
do this, no biggie, I’d be impressed if I
saw a four year old could shuffle cards like
that.
